DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

Domestic Violence rears it's ugly head all over America.  The family is no longer sacred, and our children are exposed to violence in the home, in school and in public places.  

Domestic Violence is NO respector of persons..!  I have seen it's evidence in all walks of life.  Domestic Violence prevails in the rich, the poor, highly or poorly educated, professionals and non-professional men and women in America.   Most violence includes a weapon..a weapon is not limited to guns and knives, ANY OBJECT used to HARM or CONTROL another person is a weapon!   Domestic Violence can occurr while the subject is under the influence of a mind-altering substance, however, more typically the abuse stems from the need to be in CONTROL... when the subject feels they have LOST CONTROL of "their" situation. 

Domestic Violence may include: Physical, Emotional, Financial or Spiritual Abuse, Isolation from family and friends, Threats, Stalking and Harassment.

Domestic Violence is REAL...!  As a Certified Counselor, I urge you to find help if you are in an abusive relationship, remember - there is help..!

SPIRITUAL ABUSE

Spiritual Abuse is very prevalent today, and many victims are left in the wake of death. Churches have drifted away from the Power of God, leaving many asleep in the pews! Through the years, church members died a slow death, unaware of the "thief" who stole their joy.  Already dead and dying churches are searching for avenues to "bring them in"... puppet shows and magicians are gracing pulpits, believing that "entertaining" the congregation will fill the church!  HOGWASH..!  When the Spirit of God leaves the church, death is certain..! Many have no church home today as they have been abused by others in the church who "believe" they are the ONLY ones who are saved, sanctified and on their way to heaven..... for in their eyes they commit NO SIN..!   WHOA.... I believe my Bible states that ALL have sinned and come short of the Glory of God!  Sadly, many are left to carry the pain of Spiritual Abuse alone, without a church family.  When will God's people learn that God created us ALL.... in HIS image...  HE alone is our judge, not man.  When the church cannot live by GOD'S PRINCIPALS, there is NO church, for where there is NO LOVE, GOD IS NOT PRESENT... ICHABOD is indelibly written over the entrance - discerning spirits are aware.

ABUSE OF "ANY" KIND is an open display of 'one without respect' for human life. 

God holds the answers in the palm of HIS hand...
